Religião = Amor?

Se algum dia eu escolhesse abraçar uma religião, seria uma que não apenas promovesse o amor, mas, o mais importante, que o praticasse. Pois o amor não é uma palavra oca. Tem um significado inestimável. Mas tem mais ainda quando surge através da ação, como um caminho, um movimento, uma forma de viver.

Vejam o que a maioria das pessoas religiosas têm feito em nome de Deus, do Amor divino.

Não é à toa que sempre estive apreensiva em me chamar de católica, muçulmana, judia...

De alguma forma o ódio foi semeado no coração dos homens, e onde não há Amor, só se colhe o ódio.

Daí a miséria que testemunhamos e que já foi testemunhada ao longo da história.

A maioria das religiões não é sinónimo de fé ou de divindade. Elas são sinónimo de fracasso e engano.

Religion = Love?

If I would ever choose to embrace a religion, it would be one which not only promotes love, but most importantly, that practices it. For love is not a hollow word. It holds inestimable meaning. But holds it more so, when it comes into being through action, as a path, a movement, a way of living. Look at what most religious people have done in the name of God, of divine Love. No wonder I was always apprehensive to ever call myself catholic, muslin, jew.... Somehow hatred was sown into the heart of men, and where there is not Love, only hatred is harvested. Hence the misery we witness and was ever witnessed throughout history. Most religions are neither a synonym of faith or of divinity. They are a synonym of failure and deceitfulness.
